Lupus is an inflammatory autoimmune disease that attacks the body.  One of the classic telltale signs of the Lupus patient is the Butterfly Rashes across the bridge of the nose onto the cheeks. The butterfly rashes do not only manifest in Lupus, but it can also be found in other diseases such as Pellagra, Dermatomyositis and Bloom syndrome.
